Angel of the North (Bez)



Angel of the North (Bez) is a 12ft inflatable dancing sculpture representing the frontman personality Bez from the 90's Madchester band the Happy Mondays. The piece aims to explore Hacienda's shadowing footprint within present day Manchester; its transcendence from one of a cultural zeitgeist to that of a commodified product within the city’s retrospective consumerism.
